1 person taken to hospital after accident at Indiana County fire dept.

Clymer Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mike Aikens told Channel 11’s news partners atTribLIVE that the man was doing a fire truck certification test when a rigger that supports the truck broke around 2:35 p.m., causing the ladder to fall on the man.

Aikens told TribLIVE that the man was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland with injures to his head, arm and ankle. His name and condition were not immediately released.

Gillespie was told that police are investigating the incident.
